Each month our Association holds more than 300 group fitness classes across YMCA branches throughout the Triangle. You'll find low-impact and beginner classes, cardio fitness, dance, Pilates, cycle and Yoga and more advanced cycle, boot camp and kickboxing classes. YMCA group fitness classes are for YMCA Members age 14 and older. YMCA group fitness classes are big, friendly workout parties that make exercise fun and inspiring. Certified instructors guide you through moves crafted to help you tackle your fitness goals in record time. With upbeat playlists, fun-loving classmates, and motivating teachers, our group fitness classes will get you excited to hit the gym.

Group Fitness Class Policies: YMCA members may take fitness classes FREE unless otherwise stated. Youth ages 11-13 can participate in fitness classes under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Special Instructions: This class meets at our Hemby Program Center at 9760 Happy Valley Drive 2 quick miles from Brace Y. Follow the one way road to the right. Park in the first paved parking lot on your left. Meet at that the lower parking lot by the pool. This is a conditioning class using body weight, cardio and strength exercises and minimal equipment, open to all levels. We hold over 50 live classes every week in our group fitness rooms plus 100s of virtual classes, with a mix of high-energy and lower-impact classes to suit all ages and fitness levels.
